Bavarian Werk Shop is an independent European automotive service center serving Tampa Bay from our shop in Holiday, Florida. We specialize in the maintenance, repair, performance, and long-term care of enthusiast and specialty European vehicles.
Our roots are firmly planted in BMW, with decades of experience spanning street cars, performance builds, motorsports, and some of the marque’s most desirable models. That foundation has grown into a broader commitment to exceptional European automobiles, including Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and other specialty vehicles.
Whether we are performing routine maintenance, diagnosing a complex problem, preparing a performance car, or overseeing a private collection, our approach is the same: understand the vehicle, perform the work correctly, document what we find, and help the owner make informed decisions about its care.
Our Approach
We believe exceptional automotive service starts with understanding the vehicle as a whole—not simply replacing the component associated with the latest symptom.
That means taking a preventative approach to maintenance, using thorough inspections and accurate diagnostics, selecting quality components, and considering each vehicle’s age, mileage, service history, condition, modifications, and intended use.

For owners of multiple specialty vehicles, our Vehicle Collection Management service takes that philosophy further. We help coordinate maintenance, inspections, service history, and ongoing vehicle readiness so that each car receives the attention it needs and is ready to be enjoyed when the owner wants it.
From a daily-driven BMW to a dedicated performance car or carefully maintained private collection, our objective is not simply to repair vehicles. It is to help our customers maintain them properly for the long term.

Meet the Team
Wayne Moubray
Bavarian Werk Shop was founded by Wayne Moubray Jr., a lifelong automotive enthusiast with deep roots in BMW performance, racing, and German vehicle specialization.
Wayne’s career has been built inside some of the industry’s most demanding environments. He has worked with performance-focused shops including RRT Racing, Patriot Race Engineering, Tampa AutoSports, and Car Locker, gaining experience across diagnostics, operations, and high-performance vehicle preparation.
Beyond the shop floor, Wayne has been actively involved in motorsports, competing in series such as NASA (National Auto Sport Association) and AER (American Endurance Racing). His background also extends into competitive downhill bicycle racing earlier in life—reflecting a long-standing commitment to performance and precision across disciplines.
In 2025, Wayne founded Bavarian Werk Shop in Palm Harbor, Florida, building on decades of BMW experience and a lifelong involvement with enthusiast automobiles. What began with a focus on BMW parts, knowledge, and enthusiast support evolved into the European automotive service center Bavarian Werk Shop is today, expanding that same technical approach and attention to detail to a broader range of exceptional European vehicles.
Michael Olenyn
Michael joined Bavarian Werk Shop in the summer of 2026, bringing more than 20 years of automotive experience. His background includes vintage Ferrari and Lamborghini restoration at Dew Motorcars, engine and performance work at C&C Motorsports, custom trucks at Trick Trucks, and 14 years at RRT Automotive.
Michael and Wayne’s history goes back many years. Wayne was the General Manager at RRT before Michael ultimately took over the role, and together they helped build a strong reputation within the BMW enthusiast and performance community. Their partnership also extended to the track as co-owners of a successful race team competing in AER (American Endurance Racing).
Now reunited at Bavarian Werk Shop, Michael brings his automotive knowledge and operational experience to the business, while he and Wayne continue doing what they’ve done for years—taking care of great cars and the people who are passionate about them.
