Wayne Moubray
Bavarian Werk Shop was founded by Wayne Moubray Jr., a lifelong automotive enthusiast with deep roots in BMW performance, racing, and German vehicle specialization.
Wayne’s career has been built inside some of the industry’s most demanding environments. He has worked with performance-focused shops including RRT Racing, Patriot Race Engineering, Tampa AutoSports, and Car Locker, gaining experience across diagnostics, operations, and high-performance vehicle preparation.
Beyond the shop floor, Wayne has been actively involved in motorsports, competing in series such as NASA (National Auto Sport Association) and AER (American Endurance Racing). His background also extends into competitive downhill bicycle racing earlier in life—reflecting a long-standing commitment to performance and precision across disciplines.
In 2025, he founded Bavarian Werk Shop in Palm Harbor, Florida, with a clear focus: to create a reliable source for BMW parts and knowledge backed by real-world experience.
Michael Olenyn
Michael joined Bavarian Werk Shop in the summer of 2026, bringing more than 20 years of automotive experience. His background includes vintage Ferrari and Lamborghini restoration at Dew Motorcars, engine and performance work at C&C Motorsports, custom trucks at Trick Trucks, and 14 years at RRT Automotive.
Michael and Wayne’s history goes back many years. Wayne was the General Manager at RRT before Michael ultimately took over the role, and together they helped build a strong reputation within the BMW enthusiast and performance community. Their partnership also extended to the track as co-owners of a successful race team competing in AER (American Endurance Racing).
Now reunited at Bavarian Werk Shop, Michael brings his automotive knowledge and operational experience to the business, while he and Wayne continue doing what they’ve done for years—taking care of great cars and the people who are passionate about them.
